Our “Eco-Refill” system utilizes stand-up plastic pouches that are a sustainable way to refill your favorite Barnes Brothers products. They're also a great value, delivering a lower cost per ounce, so you can save money and the planet at the same time. These pouches are planned in 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 ounce variations. Lastly, all of our grooming products are delivered in refillable, recyclable, and stylish plastic and occasionally glass containers.

We offset the carbon emissions from our shipping by supporting renewable energy projects. We believe that sustainability is an important part of our brand, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment.


We have a team of experts who are constantly researching and developing new products, evaluating new technologies, and refining our manufacturing and delivery processes. We are always looking for new ingredients and innovative formulations that will improve the performance and effectiveness of our products.

We don’t have bureaucratic formulation processes, lengthy manufacturing lead times, multi-month distribution cycles, etc. like the major brands are forced to — so we can improve and modify our formulations rapidly and innovate at a far greater pace and therefore deliver optimized solutions into customer hands quickly.

We also work closely with customers and testers to get their feedback on our products, especially before their release, and we use this feedback to improve our products over time. We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible products, and we believe that research and development is essential to achieving this goal.

With our new Barnes Brothers brand, we’re embarking on an entirely different mission whereby we can have a direct relationship with the customer, improve our products more rapidly, more effectively, and less expensively, than with the traditional (and archaic) business model that relies on slow and stale large scale mass distribution.

The brothers and their families have deep connections with nature from lives lived in nature both in the Pacific Northwest and in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
